The Motherhood Map

The transition to motherhood is hard- especially when you aren't sure what to expect or where to turn for advice. The Motherhood Map is a thoughtfully created deck of 72-cards developed by perinatal mental health experts and moms to guide you through reflections, conversations, and plans for pregnancy and beyond.

Map out your pregnancy with

insight, guidance, humor, and grace.

A guide. A tool. A map.

Just like there is no perfectly right way to feel, birth, be, or parent- there is no perfect way to use these cards.

Explore what ways work for you and your specific needs:

Sort by category: Body, Mind, Identity, Work & Life, etc.

OR

By card type: Reflection, Conversation, Action & Planning, etc.

The cards can be used individually, as a tool to journal, make to-do lists, or spark ideas for self-care and relfection.

The cards can be used with your partner or support person, to map out topics of conversation you didn't know were necessary or give you a path to disucss thoughts and feelings you've been keeping inside. The cards can also be a be a helpful guide when considering what to share with your birth provider or therapist.

The cards can also be used if you're a provider, too! Are you a newer therapist starting to work in the peripartum world? Along with propper traning and supervision, these cards can help you prepare for sessions with clients or reflect on your own birth experiences to better show up in professional spaces!

The Motherhood Map aims to support mental well-being and your changing thoughts, emotions, needs, and values.  Motherhood matters, and we want you to show up for yourself and your family prepared and empowered.
